Introduction

    Hello, I am Bryan Pinero, a senior at Miami Lakes Educational Center, and this 2024-2025 school year, I am taking AICE Media Studies A Level. This is my third year taking AICE courses, so I am already well-adjusted to learning course material and completing various AICE exams and final projects.

    Since last year, I have found AICE Media Studies to be a fun and intriguing course. I have always loved movies since I was younger, and as I've gotten older, I've found a sense of enthusiasm in me to deconstruct films and look for the meaning in them. With this class, I've gotten the opportunity to do that, along with discuss the complexities of media, which is important considering how much media is in our daily lives.
    I also loved working on the Component 1 project from AS Level. It was a great opportunity for me to express my digital design skills, while also designing a magazine centered around film. With this, I am 

intrigued on working on my "Component 3: Advanced Portfolio" to once again express my creativity and digital skills.

    Since I took AICE Media Studies AS Level last year, I am already experienced with creating and updating a blog for my project, which I will be doing this year again. Evidently, I plan on using Blogger for my Component 3 and will be updating this blog with new posts throughout the year.
