"Short Film Package" : Initial Intent and Thoughts

     As I have said in my previous blog, I plan to do the "Short Film Package" as the project for my Component 3. My main focus as of now with this package is creating the short film, which is the major task for this option. 
    For me, this now begs the question "what movie should I make?" There are countless genres throughout cinema, with so many movies from those genres to use as reference or inspiration for making a movie. Despite this, I believe I have an idea of the type of movie I want to make; 
    I want to make a short film that is grounded yet carries meaning in our everyday life. In my years of watching films, I've found that the more grounded films carry the most meaning when speaking about the intricacies of life and people, as in how we are, how we can be, and more.
    So, I am not sure what specific theme or aspect of life or people or the world I want to cover, but I am certain I want to create a short, yet effective project that makes people reflect on their character and lives. Something that is timleess and applies to the world today, 20 years ago, and 20 years from now.
