Getting The Equipment And Finding The Platforms

     Before we can begin filming, we must decide what the equipment and platform will be to record and edit the music video. Additionally, there is also the platform for creating the social media page and digipak.

    For filming, I don't think any high quality expensive camera is required, though most are filmed this way. Given that me and D'arin are just high school students, we will just go with the inexpensive option of filming the music with our phones and later combine and edit the clips. The equipment that will be used to film the music video is an iPhone 11 and an iPhone 12 Pro. We will use the cameras of these phones are they are ample enough to capture good quality videos and we have various experience using them.

    For platforms, I will use CapCut to edit the music video. I am very experienced with CapCut and have used it for years when it comes to video editing, so there will no delay or lag in trying to understand the platform first before working on anything. For the social media page, I will use the social media platform, Instagram, as I am also very experienced when it comes to using the platform. Finally, to design the digipak CD, I will use Canva, which I have already used in the past for the magazine component last year in AICE Media Studies AS Level.
